We have a vibrant women’s programme at Miramar Golf Club and our women membership is growing. Our ‘She Loves Golf’ programme has contributed to the the 38% increase in women members back in 2023!
'She Loves Golf' Programme
This is a programme designed for women interested in starting to play golf. We have offered this programme annually over the last couple of years with great success. Most of the attendees continue to play golf beyond the programme. The next programme will be announced in 2025 after the Miramar Links redevelopment is completed.
The programme extends across a 6 week period where the group have sessions with experienced golf instructors and also have the added benefit of being given protected tee times on Fridays and Sundays at 3pm & Tuesdays at 9.30am.
18-hole Golfers
Women Club Days are Tuesdays and Sundays. Book online before 8am on the day, gather for 8.45am with tee off from 9am then share lunch afterwards.
We play a variety of formats and have teams that participate in the Wellington District Interclub matches, which provide a great opportunity to play at other clubs. We also participate in the District Lady Vets monthly meetings.
9-hole Golfers
Women Club Days is Tuesday. Book online before 8am on the day, gather for 9am, tee off from 9.15am and socialise afterwards in our Café.
At weekends, time slots are available after 1pm (2pm during Daylight Saving). On Sundays, time slots are also available from 9.20-9.40am, after the 18-hole Club Day players. We field a 9-hole interclub team and participate in the District Lady Vets monthly meetings.
Mixed Events
These are played at least monthly on a Sunday in various formats and on Public Holidays. 9-hole players can participate in the Foursomes events. The Miramar Vets meet on the last Friday of each month at 9.45am for a Stableford competition.
